If you have holiday travel plans coming up, having a reliable power bank is a must. Sling a decent power bank in your pocket or bag and you can keep your phone and other gadgets topped up. But what if you want something a little more powerful? The best laptop power banks boast larger capacities and faster charging speeds, and the EcoFlow Rapid Pro is my top pick.
Both EcoFlow’s Rapid Pro models are on sale right now. The larger 27650 mAh-capacity Rapid Pro X is $170 ($80 off), and the 20,000 mAh Rapid Pro is $70 ($56 off). While both have steadily dropped in price since its release in late 2025 and often go on sale, I have never seen them available for cheaper than this.

Ecoflow
Rapid Pro Power Bank
EcoFlow’s Rapid Pro X can deliver a total of 300 watts to power up a laptop, smartphone, and headphones simultaneously. It comes in just under the maximum capacity allowed on flights. This power bank has three USB-C ports, rated at 140 watts, 65 watts, and 65 watts, and a retractable 2-foot USB-C cable rated at 140 watts. The 3.9-inch LCD display shows remaining power as a percentage and the charging rate for every connected device. You can also cycle through the stats to see the temperature and battery health or change the brightness and screen timeout. You can even connect your phone to this power bank via the Ecoflow app if you want to.
This power bank supports almost every fast-charging protocol going (PD3.1, PPS, QC3.0, AFC, Apple2.4A, BC1.2, SCP, FCP, UFCS), but its greatest feature could be its super speedy recharge rate. Charge from a single USB-C input at 140 watts, and it takes an hour or so to fill, but you can plug in both at once to hit 80 percent from dead in under half an hour. If you don’t mind an extra purchase, Ecoflow’s dock can charge via the pogo pins on the bottom at 320 watts, enabling you to go from zero to 80 percent in just 20 minutes.
The smaller Rapid Pro matches its bigger sibling on most fronts, but has a lesser 20,000 mAh capacity, a maximum combined output of 230 watts with a 100-watt built-in 2-foot USB-C cable, a 100-watt USB-C port, and two 65-watt USB-C ports. It can also charge in under 20 minutes with the EcoFlow Rapid Pro Desktop Charger at $140 ($50 off). The charger has four USB-C ports and a USB-A port in front, so it can charge multiple gadgets while you juice up the power banks on top.
