There is an option to import LUTs or font files, along with support for Model Context Protocol so AI agents can use the app. The Edits team says splitting, cutting, and trimming are easier.
Videos created with the app can be published directly to Instagram or downloaded to share on other platforms. Multiple horizontal and vertical aspect ratios are included, and Edits offers 4K watermark-free export.
Edits for Mac can be downloaded from the Instagram website.
